Tax Bracket

Tax brackets are income ranges taxed at specific rates. The U.S. has progressive brackets from 10% to 37%. Only income within each bracket is taxed at that rate—not your entire income.

Example

22% bracket: income from $47k–$100k taxed at 22%.
